Beautiful climbing day in protected green area. Climbing prior knowledge is not necessary.

If you are begginer the following activities are included:

A lesson about the most important climbing knots, tying and proper communication.
A lesson about belaying lead climbing and attaching to an anchor at the top of a climb
A lesson about climbing on a route

Rock climbing difficulty from 5a up to 8a.

Description

Less than half an hour drive from the city center you come to the entrance to the natural monument "Skakavac". From that place, a short walk through the beautiful rainforest we come to a sports climbing area that is ideal for climbing in summer. Quiet environment with plenty of springs of clean and potable water contributes to the atmosphere. During the break from climbing, half an hour walk from the climbing area there is a beautiful waterfall 98m high. Rock climbing difficulty is from 6a up to 8a.

Itinerary

Midday: After the gathering at Vijecnica (City Hall) we will drive to Skakavac natural park

During the midday we will climb on Skakavac crag, rest and can grab a bite

Evening: Drive back to Sarajevo.
