We arranged the gathering in front of the Napredak mountain lodge. By the way, this lodge is only 10 kilometers away from the city center, so it is accessible to people without a car (it can be reached by taxi or a bus that goes to Brus).

In a column, one behind the other, we passed the lodge and entered the forest. Although it was sunny and a beautiful day, it was cold in the woods. The trail was icy and slippery, so we tried, wherever the forest allowed, to walk beside it. Luckily, as we drove uphill, the snow on the trail was getting deeper and less icy, so the movement was much easier. 

Some 500-600 m above the lodge to the right of the trail is the entrance to the only ferrata on Trebević. The road took us further, next to a spring that has a very interesting name "Three Fools". As always, this time there were three volunteers to take pictures next to the source.

Shortly afterwards, we reached the ruined lodge of Dobre Vode. This is where the road forks: right to exit the western ridge, and straight next to the lodge if you want to reach the top on the other side. We took the right path and after another few kilometers of walking through the forest we finally came out into the clearing. We took our first break on the sunny meadow. There was a beautiful view of Treskavica, Visočica and Bjelašnica. From that meadow begins the ascent that leads along the western ridge to the top of Trebević.

Since there was no wind, we made one slightly larger lunch break at the very top. After the photo together, we took a slow walk back. We didn't want to go back the same way, so we went through the forest below the very top next to the destroyed lodge of Vaso Miskin Crni. The descent along the marked path went without any problems. Around three o'clock we arrived at the lodge of HKD Napredak.

This easy, almost spring tour, a beautiful view of Sarajevo, the surrounding mountains and the blue sky, finally recharged our batteries, worn out by the gloomy winter.
